What safety measures are in place for Private Wood Shop Classes?
Safety is our top priority. All participants will receive a comprehensive safety class at the beginning of the class on the tools that will be utilized. We provide protective gear, such as safety glasses and hearing protection, and our instructors ensure that everyone follows proper safety protocols when using tools and equipment. All participants are required to sign a Waiver of Liability agreement before participating in a wood shop class.

Can children participate in Private Wood Shop Classes?
Children aged 12 and up are welcome to participate in Private Wood Shop Classes, but they must be accompanied by an adult. From time to time, we offer specialized classes for younger children, so feel free to inquire about those options.

Can we bring our own food and drinks to the class?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy during the class. We also have space available for you to set up snacks or refreshments, making it a fun and social event for your group. Because of the nature of the event, alcohol is not permitted in the wood shop or by active participants in wood shop classes.

What should I wear to a Wood Shop Class?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting messy. You will encounter copious amounts of sawdust, so dress accordingly. Please no open toed shoes, dangly jewelry or clothing and tie hair back. Aprons are provided, but it's always best to dress for creativity!​
